For those who have difficulties with the use of the
mouse, the adjustment of the speeds of it, either
the moving speed and also the double-click speed,
can be a great help.
To adjust, click on the Start, then select
Configurations e then Control Panel.
Find on the screen the icon named Mouse (you
can use the arrows of your keyboard to navigate on
the icons) and press Enter or double-click
it.
In this window, besides other things, you can adjust
the Double-click speed. Put this item more
slow. This will make easier to you to use the double
click.
In the same window you can also modify the Speed
that your mouse moves on the screen. With slower speed
it is easier to point anything you want on the screen
with the mouse.

1- Many updates of the Windows 98 and
2000 are available to download on the Internet. The
procedure is automatic and can be done once you are
connected to the Internet. To start it, click on the
Start and then select the option Windows Update.
2-
If desired, you can save the update files of the Windows
98 or 2000 receive from the Internet. After the update,
the received files are stored on the temporary folders
of the Windows.
Normally at Windows 98 this folder is: \Windows\Temporary
Internet Files
In the
Windows 2000 this folder normally is: \Documents
and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files
3-
A good reason to save this files is that you can reduce
future downloads if you ever need to reinstall your
windows. After reinstalling the windows, you can use
the downloaded files to update up to the same moment
that it was, so later your Windows Update option will
only get the newer changes.
